Miss Icy Fong Ling, NGAI (Topic: FMCG trends and opportunities in Greater Bay Area)
Ms. Icy Ngai Fong Ling currently operates an international trading company. It imports, distributes and promotes more than 1,000 SKUs from Europe, America, Australia, Southeast Asia and Russia.
Icy went to Shanghai after graduated from the School of Hotel and Tourism at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2003. She worked more than 10 years in Beijing and Shanghai with Coca-Cola and Starbucks. She worked for new product and brand development, online and offline brand activation aiming to build the brand in China market. One of the new products has won global award and rolled out in other countries. Icy also worked for Coca-Cola Olympics project in Beijing, witnessed the great history of China.
Icy completed her EMBA program in 2015 at the Chinese University, inspired from the study and peers, she decided to start her own business in view of the huge demand of imported goods in both Hong Kong and China. The annual turnover has been multiplied since started.
Mr. TS Chan (Topic: FMCG: Media Usage Today)
TS is currently working as the Consultant to Marketing and Sales Department of TVB in Hong Kong. He was the first Chinese assigned to be a member of the Worldwide Media Council of McCann-Erickson in 1998. He was elected to be the first Chairman of China Media Subcommittee of Hong Kong 4A’s (Association of the Accredited Advertising Agents) in 1995. He served various leading advertisers. For worldwide client, including Cathay Pacific, Regent Hotels. For China, he helped to win the Agency of Record (AOR, i.e. Media Agency) from P&G, Coke, J&J, Nestle, Colgate, Benckiser, Danone and many other product categories. He is the first Hong Kong Chinese appointed by CCTV as their Consultant in 1998 for ten years.
He was appointed as the Honorary Consultant of the Marketing Engineering Centre of The Chinese University of Hong Kong from July 2010 to June 2013.
